We’re incredibly proud to have been the only independent brokerage in this year’s ranking and to have climbed seven places from last year.
The Adviser’s Top 25 Brokerages ranking is a benchmark report released by Australia’s top publication for mortgage and finance brokers.
In his interview with The Adviser, CEO Theo Chambers identified the strong team culture as the key to Shore Financial’s success.

Shore Financial’s culture is underpinned by a strong training program and rigorous hiring process.
Shore’s executive team made the bold decision to only hire new-to-industry brokers.
This was new brokers are trained the Shore way and live the company’s culture and values from day one.
“Our high productivity comes down to the fact that every single person in our business was never in lending prior to joining us,” says Theo. “It’s very hard to undo bad habits.”
New brokers are supported by a full training programme and a two-year mentoring system where they are paired up with a senior broker.
The “one team, one dream” ethos certainly seems to be working. As well as being ranked in the Top 25 Brokerages for 2019, Shore Financial has just been nominated in three categories for the prestigious NSW Better Business awards.
Plus, our Senior Credit Adviser, Nick Jacobs, has been featured as one of The Adviser’s Top 30 Brokers Under 30, picked from a highly competitive field.
