Mitchell has always had a love for numbers, and it’s what eventually led him into a career in financial services.

He spent several years working in various roles across different aspects of the finance industry before moving into broking in 2017.

“What’s unique to mortgage broking is that clients are asked to hand over sensitive, confidential information quite quickly in the relationship they have with the broker. And that’s not an easy thing for people to feel comfortable about – I really empathise with that.”

“In this day and age with all the regulations we have in place, clients expect knowledge and integrity and transparency, and so, I think the most important thing I can give them is my time.”

As the youngest of five siblings, not much fazes Mitchell. He says he learned a lot about life and relationships growing up in a big family and the family is very close – they all get together as often as possible on the weekends.

Mitchell works primarily in the residential property market and has a strong interest in commercial property, too.
