For Marc, mortgage broking is a great combination of his studies.
With a Bachelor of Business from the Sydney University of Technology and his current study of a post-graduate Diploma in Property Development, it’s a field that enables him to combine his interests in both finance and property.
“I also like the pace and the fact that people’s needs are all different. Getting a mortgage is such a big thing and there’s no doubt it can be stressful, but a broker’s job is to ease that and minimise the time and hassle for buyers.
You need good processes and it’s important to manage that well and be able to set priorities so that deadlines are met. We aim to streamline those processes for our clients so they don’t have to do the research themselves to find out how much they can borrow, or what the best loan is.
We also aim to prevent our clients from getting bogged down in paperwork and requests from the lender as the application is going through. If we can do all that and ensure that our clients get the finance they need, then that’s a job well done.”
Although Marc is only relatively new to broking, he can see a great future for himself.
