Industry awards are very important. They’re a recognition by your peers of the valuable work that your business has done. They give credibility and mean that much more as they’ve come from one’s own profession.
And in the world of mortgage brokers, there are no awards more prestigious than the Better Business Awards.
These awards were the first state-based awards program to recognise and celebrate the best in the mortgage broking industry in their local areas.
The awards acknowledge brokers who are doing exciting and innovative things, such as those with the most effective businesses, teams, marketing strategies and integrated offerings. The awards also acknowledge the lenders, aggregators and Business Development Managers who are working hard to help meet the brokers’ changing needs.
The judges are all from the very highest levels of the industry, university or the government. And the awards are attended by the very cream of the mortgage broking industry.
Shore Financial is no stranger to awards. We’ve been voted Brokerage of the Year by Australian Mortgage Awards as well as winning in many other Australian broker awards. And we’re no strangers to the Better Business Awards. We won the award for Best Independent Office in 2015 and again in 2016. And this year we’ve once again been nominated for Best Independent Office but also for another two categories: our own Fane Levy has been nominated for Best Residential Broker and our entire office has been nominated for Best Customer Service. We’re very thrilled to be nominated for so many categories.
And to add icing to the cake, our own Nick Jacobs has been featured as one of the Advisor’s Top 30 Brokers Under 30. It’s a tremendous accolade in a very competitive field. Nick only joined Shore Financial two years ago but is already a huge asset to our clients and is well on his way to being one of the industry’s top loan writers.
Regardless of whether we win the awards, this is a terrific accolade for all our hard work and, most importantly, an acknowledgement of how highly we value every single one of our clients.
